| Eating habits Our boy Harry 2 years old and a whopping 11 pounder (a throw back?) gets tired of his food after a week or so and loses intrest. We don't like to keep changing his food but do not like to see him so pickey. Could any of you tell me if this is a problem or is it just "the Yorkie way" Thanks |

Yorkie Talker | Picky eaters YESSS there very pickky eaters especially with DRY FOOD! i have went from eaukanuba ( a total mistake, bad food) to Before Grain which was great but very pricey, to Wellness and now im with merricks which i love ! i used to buy gravy for dog food and mix it and she would eat her kibbles, but now i just mix her Merricks whole earth dog food with there wet formula and she eats it and PLEASE stop changing the food, find a good brand cause if you keep doing that your dog will notice that its getting its way, there smart little ones . |

| I have recently started having an issue with her picky tastes (and weak tummy). First we tried Orijen-- way too high in protein for her sensitive tummy. We then switched to NOW! mixed with Wellness wet, and she liked the NOW! at first, but it started making her sick, throwing up after every meal. We then switched to Innova (kibble) mixed with Wellness wet-- she liked it at first, then she just totally went off of it after two weeks so we just bought her Wellness Puppy (kibble) mixed with Wellness wet, and she gobbled it up... we will see how long she eats this one for! It's really annoying. Thank goodness my pet store takes back opened bags of food or I might be in the poor house |
