| LOL..........not another poop eater!........its disgusting isnt it!!!!? Ya know thats pretty common, as gross as it is. Most outgrow it. THe only advice I can give is to keep it picked up at all times on her piddle pads to avoid poop breath. I have a 10 month old in the house, I didnt think she would ever stop! But I just kept it picked up and gave her treats after her business. Seemed to help. |

| Everytime I see a post like this I have to laugh. I was in the same boat with one of mine. Oh my gosh how disgusting I thought. How could one of my yorkie babies being doing this. LOL I tried everything from the forbid, pineapple, to the meat tenderizer. Nothing worked for mine except for growing out of it. Apparently, the variety of 5/6 star foods is just so good, sometimes they want to re-eat it. Most really do just grow out of it. I would keep it picked up as often as possible. As they get older, they poop less and on more of a schedule so its easier to grab before they have a chance to get to it. At 4 months old...pups are just interested in everything

| It has worked for me. Not saying it will for you, but I have tried pineapple and many other things as well. Mary {Mardelin} told me about the meat tenderizer and it worked. Premium dog foods, believe it or not, taste good the second time around!LOL

Meat tendorizer on their food helps, and so does fresh pineapple, however, this is all short term, and wont last, if it gets that bad, you can ask your vet for some FOR BID which also goes on their food!

| I have tried everything people mentioned in the above posts and none of it stopped my two poop eaters. Out of 6 dogs 2 eat poop and it doesn't seem to really matter what I do. The funny thing is that they don't like ALL poop but tend to like poop from certain other dogs. This leads me to believe that some dogs digest and burn food better than others and therefore if it isn't thoroughly digested and burned by the body it may be more interesting to poop eaters. Your first step is to always pick up after her when she poops. That is going to be the best thing. After that you might try changing what you are feeding her to something else and see if it continues. You might find something that she doesn't like the second time around! When I switched all mine to Canidae about 6 weeks ago my two poop eaters don't seem to have nearly as much interest. They still occassionally do it but they don't seem driven to do it like before. Good luck!

| I tried parsley (fresh or dry) and that seems to work. Just sprinkle a bit in their food. |

| I had the sameeeeeeee problem with my pup! She eventually grew out of it, but I think that switching her food to a higher quality one helped also. There is more nutrients in the high quality kibble so I assume it deters them from trying to eat their poop. That's my guess! I'd try giving her pineapple. I never tried it. But it seems to work for other people! |

| As other mentioned, It's a digestion thing. There body isn't absorbing what it needs to absorb the first time around. So if you help the aid digestion it can solve the issue. Digestive Enzymes like Great Life can help. Some people have a lot of success with Stop Eating Poop from Solid Gold. |
