| I highly recommend a steam cleaning such as the Shark. Works great and floors are so much cleaner than ever using a mop!!! No chemicals at all - just the steam that sanitizes. If you choose to not go the steam route, I would recommend a "green" cleaner like those by 7th Generation.

| I use a steam mop on my floors and vinegar and water on my counter and table surfaces. Vineger is an antibacterial. I don't know if I put more vinegar than water but everything smells like vinegar for a minute and then the smell dissapates.

| I clean with vinegar and water on my tile floors but I like to add essential oils to the mix to make it smell good. I also add a few drops of Dr. Bronner's hemp rose castille soap.

| Yes this is true but my floor feel so clean when I'm done mopping. Tile floors seem to accumulate a "film" but after using vinegar and hot water, my floors feel so clean. I have the shark , but I get so fed up of refilling that thing. My whole downstairs is tile. It works well though.
