| Privates 3 year old yorkie having an erection that won't fully go away, allowing the penis to protrude a slight bit. Is this normal? I don't know if it was from humping a pillow, something he likes to do from time to time. |

| Do you mean it never goes in or stays out for awhile?

| privates It is almost all the way in, but the red tip is sticking out a bit. This just happened, so it hasn't gone on for long. Just wondering. |

| Don't worry...if it is always out you need to go to the vet as it could get infected etc. If he was just humping then eventually it will go in. It might need a lubricant if it is still out tomorrow morning... Aren't little boys a joy.

| It needs to be inside. You can put lubrication on it to help and make sure no hairs are making it so it can't get back in.

| You might want to ask your vet. I'm sure it's nothing, but my mother-in-law has an unneutered chiuahuah that has the same problem. He has a testicular growth inside that pushed it out.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | This is what I've read the most. Sometimes a hair gets caught and you can use k-y jelly, or even vaseline to lubricate and the penis will go back inside. It's not good to have it on the outside and it can swell up and cause serious problems.
