Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Tuffy being neutered today Our little Tuffy is at the Dogtor to have his neuter & remaining 4 baby teeth pulled. I'll be on pins & needles until around 3 this afternoon. I'm nervous mostly because several months ago he showed signs of having CT & I'm just a bit concerned the tubation will aggravate that again. We'd appreciate all the positive energy you all can send our way! I asked them to also do a dental while he was under but they feel 10 1/2 months is too young? At what ages did your Yorkie have its' first dental?

| Hi Sherry, just posted in you other thread. Sending good thoughts and prayers for Tuffy. He'll do just great and be back in your arms in no time. We just had dentals done here and Hot Rod is 2 1/2 and Maggie will be 2 in May.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Thanks Bo! Tuffy was 5 months old when we got him & right away I noticed he's got some nasty looking stains on his back molars. We've tried Petzlife but I'm terrible at remembering to do it every evening so the results from it are hard to see. I hate the idea of having to have him go under anesthesia every year to remove build-up because he's shown signs of having CT so we don't want to aggravate that condition more than we have to.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Thanks Ladies! Tuffy is sore but already he wants to play so I'm thinking he'll be fine. There's been no honking either so that's another great thing. I'm glad I bought him the softee collar from Mom to Hot Rod; it's keeping him from licking the area & incredibly he's even been able to eat with it on too. Poor lil guy acted like he was starving tonight.
