| Natural for Fleas and Ticks I would LOVE to find something natural that will keep the fleas and ticks off my girls. I have used Frontline and it made Maddie scratch like crazy. Both have sensitive skin so I would like to aviod pesticides. We do treat the yard immediatly in front of the house but living on a farm with 50+ acres it is impossible to treat everywhere. Anyone have positive results with a natural product out there? I have found one tick on Coop and two on Maddie already this year! eeeek! Thanks, Amanda |

| I have tried both advantix and frontline.....I like advantix better. However, even on the advantix year round, Levi managed to get lymes disease. He also itches like crazy when I apply it...Anxious to see if anyone else has a better treatment as well...

| I have been using Dirty and Hairy repel shampoo for about a year and have not had any problems with fleas or ticks. I bought it at Petco. It is a natural pet shampoo with citronella, green tea and lime.

| I was hoping to hear of some magical natural treatment here.... but honestly I don't think there is one. I am so frustrated with Frontline Plus not working that I'm giving up on it forever, along with thousands of other unhappy customers. K9 Advantix had a bad reaction on my Schnauzers previously, so I've been afraid to use it on my lil girls. Tiki has liver issues and can't have any of those. I bathe them with Minksheen Shampoo weekly, and it helps a little, but not enough. I vacuum carpeted areas upstairs every other day, and can hardly wait to tear it all out and get hardwood. Due to our moderate weather, we never get a break from the ticks and fleas, and I too hate using poisons.

| Can't help naturally, but I live on a farm as well. We have 3 acres but 90 acres of farmland is behind us. So I definitely needed something strong to repel ticks and mosquitoes and fleas. Frontline Plus just did not work for us last summer. He was on it from April-June (09) and got sooo many ticks and ended up getting Lymes disease. Since being on K9 Advantix, not 1 tick to my knowledge. He also gets baths about 1x a week in Minksheen which is an insect repellent as well.

Looks like I am going to have to use a pesticide if I want them to be tick free. I will def. be getting some Minksheen Shampoo. You and Brister both mentioned it. I didn't even realize it was for ticks and flees too. Thanks! | |

| Yikes-I'm not really sure honestly. I've been using both with no problems but I didn't realize there were certain ones to stay away from!
