| Warning about pets in bathrooms I see posts about leaving our babies in the bathroom all the time. A word of warning: If you use hair care products, spray and etc and spray perfume, your dog is at risk for asthma when shut in there on a regular daily basis. I had this happen to a chi that I had several years ago. The vet actually wrote on her paper that it was due to being left in the bathroom with toxic agents for long periods every day. Every spray of hairspray or perfume you use lingers in the air long after you are gone and with the door shut, even longer. We actually left her in there while we were both at work all day. I have wanted to post this warning every time I see your posts but just had to today. Something to think about. |

| Thank you for sharing this useful information with all of us. In the mornings, Schatzie likes to "hang out" with me. Whenever I spray the hairspray, deoderant, perfume etc, I notice she high tails it outta the bathroom. I feel bad not realizing now this could be really toxic to her. She is never locked in the bathroom but for now on I will head make sure she isn't sharing the same room with me whenever I spray such items. Thanks again - this is very useful and important information for us and our fur babies.

| I've never thought of this. We leave Chewy in his x-pen in the living room when we are gone, but I do know that a lot of people do leave their pets in the bathroom because they perceive it to be the "safest" room in the house. |

| This is a great idea Because my daughters cat use to go into the bathroom with me every morning while I got ready for work. and she kept getting real bad eye infections. It was all because of the hair spray. so I will never let the cats or dogs go in the bathroom with me while I do my hair any more. |
