| Uhoh, yorkie eating her own poop In the morning, my mom and brother saw my 8 week old yorkie (Yuna) poop and eat it. I was still sleeping at the time so I didn't see. Yuna just pooped now and my mom grabbed her quickly and picked up the poop. Yuna went back to smell the poop and lick the floor. This is disgusting! I read that pineapple works? I was wondering if I should get the fresh kind and like cut it up myself or get the ones in the can. I currently switched her from Eubanka to Wellness Just for Puppy, I don't know if that is the reason why.... Last edited by Yuna; 03-24-2010 at 03:32 PM. |

| Mine too (3 mos)! But she only does this when she goes outside. She'll pick it up in the yard before I can even bend down to get to it and she tries to take off with it in her mouth. It's gross. She only does this when she's outside though, she doesn't do this if she goes inside by accident on her pad... |

| Sweet Pea is a little over 1yrd old and she does this. The 1st time my daughter saw her do it, she ran to the bathroom to throw up...hahahaha.... We have been giving her little chunks of fresh pineapple once a day with her food and we have not seen her do it again. 1800PetMeds sells pills that make dogs stop eating their poop, though i haven't used it.
