| Stinky Boys Maximo and Teddy have stinky dog smell lately. The Maxster (15 months) always smelled nice before I brought home Teddy (now 9 months), who smelled nice the first couple of days. They have been together for a month and they both seem happy, not stressed. Their diet is the same. Any ideas why they stink? |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | No, not sure why they smell. I started using Clean & Fresh Shampoo and the nice clean smell last a long time. For days actually. Maybe check into this or something like it!

I'm wondering if it is something biochemical -- two alpha males living under one roof.

| Ya know, I don't mind the smell of either of my pups, but I notice that Buzz, the boy, has a muskier smell than Apple, the girl...Kinda like us humans, the girls always smell better than the boys lolololol.... |

Of course Apple smells sweet; she is made of sugar and spice and everything nice. Musky -- that is exactly how I would describe my boys right now. It isn't really an offensive odor, just more doggy-like than what Maximo had smelled like in the past. I was thinking last night that the warmer temps here might be the cause for the different scent.
