| Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Venison Change!! So I went to pick up some food for my Baxter today. He's on the Sweet Potato and Venison from Natural Balance due to a skin condition that makes him itch till he bleeds. So i open the bag and the color of the kibble is notably lighter and the kibbles are slightly bigger in size. So I hit the forums to find out what the deal is. Turns out Natural Balance has changed its formula by introducing more additives and has not warned anyone. I have been reading that dogs with sensitive stomachs could be prone to vommiting. This apparently was even stated by Natural Balance in a response email to a customer. It was said that a small percentage of dogs will have to be adjusted to the new formula by making feedings small and more frequent. Wondering if I should risk it and see if Baxter will do ok on it or get something else. |

| I noticed the change too; but didn't know about the additives! this is a drag as my yorkie has real digestion problems but she hasn't had any trouble with the new natural balance.........too bad about the change in formula - i thought i had finally found a healthy diet for her. |

| More additives? Where did you get that false info from? If you go to the NB site, it says they changed the formula to have more potato protein & fiber bc venison meat is scarce, thus the lighter color. Please do not post misleading info until you have all the facts...this is how rumors start.
