| Spayed My little princess got spayed today. She has been laying around since we got home from the vet which is expected. Is there anything else I should look out for? Will she bounce back quickly, will she get back to her normal happy, hyper self? Just a few tips would be helpful, Thanks in advance, |

| Glad that all went well. You will want to keep her somewhat quiet and definitely keep her from jumping. These little ones start running around and just don't realize that they just had surgery. Just give her lotsa gentle hugs and kisses (and treats help too!)

| I'd just treat her as normal. With just a few extra hugs. Odie was neutered 10 days ago and was fine the day after. The vet asked us to go back two days after for a check and he had his stitches out yesterday. Didn't even touch his stitches even without a collar. God bless you both. Hugs Shirl x x |

| Just keep her quiet--don't excite her or make her run around, keep the incision dry and clean--call the vet if there is redness or heat or swelling at the site, relax and enjoy her. Our bundle was bouncyafter 3-4 days and at 2 weeks she is back to her sassy self |

| Roxie was just spayed last month. She was pretty mopey for 2 or 3 days and then wanted to go back to playing and running like normal. It was a struggle for us to keep her from overdoing it! It took about 2 weeks for the incision site to heal up completely and now she just has a little scar there. Roxie was also super stinky when she came home from the clinic. I waited 10 days before giving her a very gentle bath, so as not to disturb the incision site.
