I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Pumpkin has lots of fiber, which is good for the intestines. It can help with constipation, or diarrhea, and it's good for humans too. Remember, not to use the pie filling, but pure pumpkin. Some vets recommend a little every day. Here's the diet forum, http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yorkie-health-diet/, but people talk about it a lot on the sick forum, because its great for diarrhea and constipation.

| When I did tortoise rescue my vet recommended pumpkin as a natural de wormer. I use fresh pumpkin and microwave it for my pups and they love it. I have never had it cause any problems.

| Some stores only have it seasonally, and here, it is with the canned veggies. I use it in frozen lumps, for teething puppy's! I feed it that way as a treat for the masses! They love it! And it is very good, for tummy's.
