| Hiya hun well i alway's advise if anyone is worried about there little furries then consult a vet 1st,But if it was me i would maybe dab a little tea tree on the bald spot evry other day you should start to notice the fur grow back after 2 or 3 week's if it is a minor complaint. There could be many thing's it could be something or nothing,i.e allergy/mange/ringworm/stress if any of these the tea tree should work. |

YT 500 Club Member | Rosie has the same problem with two little bald patches one either side of her nose. It statyed this winter after she started scratching like crazy. I've treated with an anti fungal/bacterial shampoo, treated incase of mites- her ears were pretty bad when we got her, but they can spread to other areas-, and put her on yumega extra oil 2 weeks ago which fingers crossed seams to finally be taking effect. Only realised yesterday its been days since I noticed her scratching. Its one of those things that sometimes can be trial and error in descovering the corse. Rosie does have the odd hair growing back but were waiting to see if it returns. |

YT 500 Club Member | Funny you should suggest thornit, its what I used for her ears and other areas after it was suggested on another forum and I'm pretty sure its what broke the cucle. She still gets treated with it once a week after her bath just to keep them at bay. My two get walked in an area where foxes hunt, so I figure better safe than sorry. Rosie also seams to get dry skin from having the heating on, hence the oil. She does still scratch a little in the morning but no more than Alfie does so I'm pretty happy and a check this morning looks fairly promising with some new hair growth. |
