YT Addict | Hungry Puppy?? Gabby is 4.5 months old. She doesn't eat very much, in fact, she eats very little. I thought she was just tired of her food, so I changed it. She still doesn't care to eat much, and what she does eat, she eats out of my hand - never out of her bowl. She loves her liver treats and asks like she starving every time I give her one. Should I be concerned? I was thinking maybe goats milk in her dry food?

| She might be teething right now and if she is it could be hard for her to eat her dry food. Perhaps you could boil - or bake on a raised rack inside tin foil - a chicken breast and maybe add some of that. I feed mine in a little oval plate with raised edges. Could yours be scared of the bowl? They are kind of funny, ya know?

| I use the brand Merrick. You add a bit of warm water and you have instant gravy with softer kibbles. Or just mix a little of wet food to her kibbles. Sounds like she doesn't enjoy her meal.

Great advise about the chicken. Tonight I mixed a little bit of beef broth in it and she ate it all.

| I'm so glad to hear that. I know they can spook so easily and sometimes it is the smallest things that we don't even think twice about. Good luck and keep us updated.

| I used to have to smash up a liver treat and sprinkle it on the food. Or a little Parma cheese ontop |
