OKay I really dont have a gas problem with my Yorkie. But I have a HUGE gas problem with my Boxer and thought maybe I could post it here and someone would know some miracle cure. I swear everyday she farts more and more. She farts in her sleep, in front of guest(she dont care

), and I swear she purposely walks over to the fan and farts in front of it so the smell consumes the room. So my question is...... Is their something I can give her to make her not so gassy(I was thinking along the line of vitamin, food supplement)? I havent changed her food and she poops normal, but she is just getting older and gassier(is this even a word

? ) by the minute.

We had a dobie one time that did that also. The vet said one tablespoon of cottage cheese everyday. I swear by it....

I have seen a Gas Aid for dogs at Petsmart...good luck...

and stay in the fresh air

Check her food, if it has wheat. Wheat causes gas.

I agree-try to probiotics products or the anti-gas thingies. Does your dog do anything different when she farts? I had a girl who would lie so close to you it would take a crowbar to pry her off. She would let farts that brought tears to your eyes and didn't blink an eye. I don'y know how or why they do it but it does have a way of clearing a room ..

I'll check the ingrediants of her food. All my dogs are on the same food, but I know some dogs stomach will handle it different. I havent changed it but maybe its just finally taking its toll.

When she farts she just sits there like nothing happened. Its actually pretty funny because everyone else is dying of the smell and laughing at her and she just looks at us inquisitively. But anyways I got some great answers. Thanks guys. You have NO IDEA how much I appreciate it!

Nah that cottage cheese thing won't work for me. I am only gassy when I have dairy... any dairy... and I have dairy at least once a day. Most of the time I don't take my lactaid pills so you can imagine what it is like being around me, P-U!!!

lol... all the bubbles in my tummy and the pain in my side.... clear out the bathroom cause here I blow.... lol

I think I already know the answer to this -but they have a forum that people post on for that ?...I can just imagine the posts on that - I bet you don't hear too many people telling other people they wish they could meet in person

Sorry Shana - this is NO help to your poor Boxer is it - Though...maybe it is - you could sign her up for Farts Anoym and post for her since I'm sure her typing is probably a little slow
