| What's your baby's feeding schedule? I did a search on this topic and posted in an older thread, but got no responses, so I figured I would just post a new thread. My new baby is coming home next Tuesday, and I'm pretty much prepared (as best as I can be, at least!)... but I was wondering how much food should I give her? How often? She's 6 months old and I'm going to be switching her from her breeder's food (it's not sold where I live) to Blue Buffalo puppy food. I know to do it slowly, as to not upset her stomach... to mix the foods. How much do you feed your baby? Do you only keep the food down for them for 30-40 minutes then take it away? And at what age do I switch her from puppy food to adult food?

| I free feed. Ella hasn't developed a weight prob. so i will continue to do so. The dry food is down all day for her to munch and she gets wet food twice a day. I think i switched her from puppy formula to adult food when she was around a year. On the bags on kibble it'll say what ages it is intended for, most of the day. Congrats. on your new puppy.

| Roxie gets breakfast at 5am before I leave for work, and then gets dinner at 5pm. I just switched her to Innova EVO and she gets about 1/4 cup each feeding. She also gets snacks in between. She usually hoovers the food right up, so I don't have to leave it out for any length of time.

| I have to little vacuum cleaners, so I don't free feed. My two eat breakfast between 5-5:30am. They get a snack of yogurt or pumpkin (1T.) at 8am before I go to work. They have their dinner between 4:30 and 5:00pm when I get home from work. They get a snack at 8pm which is usually veggies. Jada is 3yrs and Bogie is 18mos. They are on Blue Buffalo small breed and Jada(5lbs) gets 1/4 cup a day and Bogie (7lbs)gets 1/2cup. I also sprinkle Coco Therapy coconut chips on their breakfast (1/4 t.)

| Since I have 2 girls, I have to feed them 2 times a day. Dry in the morning and give them time to eat and i pick up the rest and give them wet food with the rest of the dry food at night. But i never leave food out all day. They eat the amount that is needed for their size and they always finish at night! |
