YT Addict | diet change? my yorkie has been on Science Diet food ever since I got her. That is what the breeder said she fed her. She is almost 5 months old and I have a hard time getting her to eat. She might eat a little in the morning, but that is all. I do give her liver treats, which I am using as a training reward, and she really likes those. Could she just be tired of the same food? If I add a small amount of canned food in with her dry food, will it make her stool soft? We are not completely potty trained. She weights 2.5 lbs. |

| Science Diet is not a good dog food to say the least. Is there any reason you couldn't just give her real food? With just one tiny dog, it sure wouldn't cost much.

| I understand what you are going through. I just went through this with Ressie. There has been a lot of posts about diet today. Check out these threads and see if these answer your questions. Hope this helps. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...cky-eater.html http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...od-issues.html

| Real food. Dog food isn't real food.

| I understand your point. Some dog food is human grade though, so it would be made with real people food.
