| Joey gets car sick to. We live in a rural mountain area and have winding roads. First of all, I don't feed him anything three hours before we leave. This has helped, but when we are going on the long winding road trips, I found if I put him in his car carrier that has solid sides that he can not see out, this helps alot. I also secure it with the seat belts so its less movement for him. I know the vet has a medication you can give them but haven't had to go that far with him yet. We travel 2hrs down to Tn every weekend until all of this snow and bad weather so we have skipped several weekends. Good luck I know it's hard traveling with a sick one. You might try keeping some plastic bags, such as the ones to pick up after him/her and some baby wipes (the small compact size) in your purse. I have been able to get the bag in front of him in time to avoid the accident getting on my clothing. Sharon, Joey and Cabella |

| Lola is 13 months old and still gets car sick. Called the vet and he said he could give me tranqulizers, which I won't do. I have tried ginger snaps, rescue remedy doesn't work. Someone on YT said try Bonine (like dramamine) sold at Walmart. I tried it yesterday and she did get sick once going to my moms but on the way back she didn't get sick. Gave her not quiet a half of tab. I am going to try it again though, I hate to give up because she loves going in the car.
