| If it's part of a complete and balanced do food, it should be okay. Just giving pork, bacon, and ham at home is NOT okay. It is a major contributing factor to the development of pancreatitis in Yorkies.

| Just watch too much fat - any dog can develop pancreatitis as a result. The say every Thanksgiving dogs wind up with pancreatitis because people give too much fatty turkey scraps and our kids have tiny bellies so what isnt a lot of fat to us may be way too much for them. |
