| My baby has a red spot on her belly??? The other day i noticed that there was a red bump/spot on my dogs belly. Its the only one and doesn't seem to bother her. But nothing seems to bother her. Its about 1/2 a size of a dime but alittle raised. She acts fine, but i have no idea what it could be. I attached two pictures, but its kind of hard tell by the pictures. any one might know what this could? |

| Maybe a little bug bite? Irritation of sorts?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I agree it looks like a bug bite or a little allergic reaction to something. I would have the vet check it out if it is still there on a couple of days.

| My dog had the same thing on his chest/belly recently. It went away completely in about 2-3 days. I'm convinced it was a spider bite. |

| It doesn't look like a tumor, it looks like an allergic reaction or a bug bite My daughter's yorkie had spots like that all over her tummy when they came to visit and her face started swelling and we took her to the vet and it was an allergic reaction to the leaves in CT. So they sent her home with some special medicated shampoo and they said to give her benadryl. I am not sure how much but I am sure you can google the dosage or it might even be posted on YT. How old is your dog?

| She is 3 1/2 years old. She doesn't have any spots anywhere on her body and there isn't anything that looks like she got a bite. It's soft and there is hair there it is hard and just red. It looks bigger then in the picture. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow just to make sure. |

| Looks like a bug or spider bite because it's a single red bumb. if it was an allergy there may be more redness or bumbs. spider bites tend to linger a while. If you feel any lumps or see fluids coming from the redness I would visit the vet asap.

| Well the Dr. says she looks like she has granuloma on her belly and gave me a ointment but will check in 10 days to see if it gets better. if not he will remove it and get it sent in. Lets hope that this ointment works!!! |

| Hi, I realize that this is an old post, but my 11 year old Yorkie developed a spot on her tummy and it looks just like this. The vet put her on amoxi-drops for 7 days, but no change. I need to call him back if it does not go away. He wants to do a biopsy on it. I hate to put her thru that. Did your dog's spot go away? Thanks. Kate
