| Dexter loves Blue Buffalo but... He never eats the little dark pieces which I assume are blueberries? He is eating the puppy lamb flavor. Anything I can do to make him eat everything? Also, I used to blend his food with water to make a slurry because he had no teeth as a puppy. It was easy to mix NutriCal into this mix. Now when I mix NutriCal into the kibble, it seems like he notices and wont eat as much. How does everyone else feed their Yorkies NutriCal? |

| Nutrical should NOT be used daily. It is only in the event that say- your yorkie has been throwing up all day and their gums are white and you are trying to get to the vet and they won't eat anything- then you would give nutrical to bring their blood sugar up. Can you try adding natural plain yogurt? if you add jsut a little then he might be interested in the dark pieces. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I agree with marcerella02, why are you giving it daily? It should only be given to treat hypoglycemia. Sometimes vet recommend it for newborns who can't nurse, but it's mostly sugar, but at this age, he should be able to get nutrients from food.

| There are a lot of people who say their dogs will not eat the Life Source bits in Blue Buffalo. In a way, if they're not eating those, it's kind of wasting money since they seem to make up half the bag! Good luck with your food search My picky boy finally settled with Fromm and Nature's Variety.
