| Converting to Buffalo Blue... So I got the adult BB-small breed for Gracie and we are converting her over. She loves it. Still mixing in some of the RC puppy formula. I wanted to go ahead and switch Bristol to the BB puppy formula. I actually picked some up this weekend. It is in the blue bag (chicken and brown rice). When we opened it I noticed that the chunks are bigger than the adult! I thought what the heck? So I go on line and search and find that there is a BB small breed puppy in a pink bag (chicken and oatmeal)! Ugh! My son works out of town so I PRINT him the pic and ask him to pick it up for me. We don't have it available here in the middle of nowhere. Well he comes home with the pink bag-the small breed ADULT that I already have for Gracie. I found out the small breed puppy in the pink bag is new. So when you all fed your baby Blue puppy was it the one in the blue bag? Maybe the chunks aren't as big as I think. Bristol just seems to struggle with them a little. |

| I had Sasha on BB once and I found that she actually preferred the bigger pieces over the smaller ones. She's always been this way though. She would eat the smaller pieces from the small breed bag, but not with the same enthusiasm as the big ones. |

| I'm thinking about switching Wookie to this food as well. RC only comes in 3 lb or 20lb bags and it runs out too quickly. Also gives him stinky breath pew! Let me know if it does better than RC!

It also smells good and doesn't give bad breath at all.

| My baby loves this---but, spits out every single vitamin! Every time she eats there is a pile of rejected vitamins sitting next to her bowl! sheesh! |

| Leave them there and you'll see eventually she will start to eat them. My babies were like that in the beginning. Now they eat everything.

| Bristol will eat them-they just seem big for her little mouth. I would really like to find the puppy chicken and OATMEAL with the smaller bites. Oh, and we are lucky here my girls don't have a problem with the vitamins! They will even eat them out of your hand! |

| Picky Eaters? Are they picky eaters, bc my Rambo is so picky. I've tried almost everything including NV's chicken medallions and I'm sure he ate some of the recalled bag. I even made him a chicken stew recipe but will not eat it. He has diarreha and I just gave him some pepto bismol.

| My girls were picky too but they LOVED Royal Canine! In the beginning we tried Wellness and it was a no go. Gracie is 10 months and she is eating the adult Blue. I suppose that if they need the extra calories at 10 months I would probably still feed the puppy. Gracie loves to eat now and does not need the extra calories so we decided to put her on the adult. She is not fat by any means-no belly but that girl is meaty if yo know what I mean-solid! Bristol is only 3 1/2 months so she is on the puppy. Good luck! I don't know wht it is like to have a puny one! |
