| I use K9 Advantix. Frontline did not work for Max. I pulled 3 ticks off of him one day and that was enough! I switched to K9 Advantix the next month and in 1 1/2 years have only seen 1 tick on him and it was dead. If you kept the tick you could take it into your vet and have them look at it.

| I use K9 Advantix on Max as well; no problems. I agree with the other poster, if you are really worried, take him into the vet. If the tick looks engorged, then it prob bit him. You can try to see if you feel any "bumps" that may be a tick bite.

| This is the best contact flea and tick killer hands down.. Best Yet Customers told me about it and I finally ordered it, I tested it out on a "Grain Beetle". These guys are immune to just about every, even if directly sprayed with bug killer. One squirt of Best Yet, "Chemical Free" and it died on contact. It also acts as an anti-bacterial and promotes healing of sores and dry spots. And after all the fleas and ticks are dead, you can use the rest of the bottle as furniture polish. It's something to definitely keep around in the house. It really is an amazing product. |
