| Enough Protein ? I have some questions about Chloe's coat and diet. We have both our dogs on Natural Balance LID : Venison and sweet potato, it is a low protein food. There was no real reason for the low protein choice except they didn't really want to eat anything else we tried ( and Sydney seemed to poo ALOT on the high protein brands like wellness Core and the like ) So we tried this and they seem to like it. My question is since it is a low protein food , and there was no reason for it ( from a medical standpoint) Are they getting enough protein or should I add to it? I do mix a small amount of wet food ( wellness usually) with the kibble in the a.m. but I worry if they are getting enough protein and if its balanced enough? Also Chloe's coat is very thin , I was assuming this was because of her coat texture and being a silky coat , but could lack of protein be hurting her or is the NB LID enough protein for her ? She is 19months old now and her hair is sooooo fine !!! Thanks
