| What age did your furbaby stop growing? I've seen several threads about how much does your yorkie weigh, but I'm wondering what the average age is that most stop growing. My vet says that mine are about through....Please tell me about your experience.

| Id say about a month or so ago.. she is now 1 , she is still changing alot as far as coloring but her weight has stayed the same over the last month, but her body appears to be changing.. she is more sturdy looking , has filled out a bit and her fur continues to change, she stayed nearly black until she was about 10 months old!!

| Chip stopped around 6 months. We got Smokey around 6 months old and he has never grown in height or length-wise since we brought him home, so he probably stopped growing around that time or right before.

| I was wondering the same thing. I remember Bandit growing VERY slowly. Nala is the same height as him now, but weighs more. I'm hoping she'll still get a little bigger. She's 9 months old...and a piglet! |

| I think they are all different, depending on the adult size they will be.. Buddy gained 1lb monthly until he reached 1yr old at which point he was 13lbs. He stayed that size, which was nice for about two yrs then started gaining ozs until he peeked at 4yrs old. 16lbs 5oz now he's 16lbs at almost 6yrs old. I thought he would never stop growing |

YT 2000 Club Member | Tucker stopped growing in height when he was 5 months old, he stopped gaining when he was around 7 months old, he did however "fill out" a little more when he was around 9 months, by this I mean he got muscles.... I call him my little bulldog...

| I also think they are all different. Tayah stopped growing at 5 months and at a year she sprouted another pound or so. Harley stopped growing at 6 months and he is a little over a year now. They are all still changing color. It is amazing to me how much they change! SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

| Diva stopped growing structurally at around 6 months of age, but gained a few more ounces in weight between then and now. She is currently 5lbs. 10 oz. and is a tad overweight for her size. Davinci is 4 1/2 months old and seems to be slowing down in growth. He's very active right now, and is still a little on the slim side (3lbs. 8oz.) compared to Diva's chunkly little figure. My mother has a yorkie mix (not sure of other breed) and he looks like a large yorkie. He stopped growing at around 8 months old. He has maintained his 10lb weight since that time. He has only gained about 3 oz. since being neutered. Diva's first baby is now 1 year 6 months old and he stopped growing completely at 4 months old. He has maintained his size and weight 3lbs. 4 oz. since that time, even though he is now neutered. |

| Sophie was spayed at 6 months old. Everyone said she would gain weight after the procedure, but she didn't put on a few more ounces until she was 9 months old. She's 11 months old now, and looks like she's done. She's a loving 3.4 lbs, and so spoiled!!! LOL!
