| Primal Raw contains NO DENATURANT!! We can eat it!! Happy Holidays Friends!! Was on vaca so just got back and came home to this AWESOME EMAIL!!!!!! Got a response from Primal regarding their meat and HUMANS CAN EAT IT!!! THAT'S FANTASTIC!!! I feel like such a GREAT MOMMY!! Here is the email: Hello Vivian, Thank you for your inquiry and my apologies for the delay in reply. All proteins used in our foods are human edible and NEVER denatured in any way. Please let me know if you have any further questions/comments/concerns. Best Regards, Matt _____ Matt Koss Founder, President matt@primalpetfoods.com primalpetfoods.com 866.566.4652 (Toll Free) 650.570.7000 (Main Office) 650.570.7404 (Fax) Hello I am emailing to ask you if your use denaturant in your meat? Denaturant is an edible coloring that is required to be placed on meat going to a pet food facility. Processing facilities usually do not label products intended for pet food with the USDA mark of inspection so they must have this coloring applied. This coloring must be applied because product without the USDA mark of inspection legally can’t be processed as human food. Please let me know if Primal Petfoods uses this in their meat. Thanks- Vivian Yayyyyy!!!!!!!!!!! Snick & Viv

| Yaaaayy Viv....Thanks for taking the time to write Primal, and also to let us know of the results...I'm, definitely, going to stop NV...I guess I need to touch base w/Stella & Chewy's and Bravo, as my guru of feeding, highly recommends rotating between brands, proteins, and even no grain kibble...I haven't done the no grain kibble, but they are getting some little liver "potty treats" that have some grain in them...I kinda hate stopping NV, because it's always been easy to buy at all three of my sources...Oh well, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do lolol... |

| I am so, so jealous!! I asked my two local 'boutiques' about carrying a second brand of raw besides NV and they said they just don't sell enough raw to expand their inventory.

| HURRAH! Finally, a pre-made raw company I can trust to use when I'm not preparing it myself. Thanks Viv!

| Good to know! I wonder if anyone sells it around here? I feed basically PMR but occasionally feed NV just for convenience but I know it's not the best.... |

| Thats awesome, too bad I have not seen any for sale any where. I was in the Pet boutique yesterday and I was telling the man about Natures Variety. I will have to tell him to look into getting primal for his shop |

Hey I'm always looking for a way to simplify my life. Only one grocery stop and only one meal to prepare: "Honey, we are having beef nuggets." LOL | |

Hahahahaha Lolllll I know!!! "Hey babe, do we all want beef or chicken tonight? We can let Snickers decide!!" Hahahahahahah!! Isn't that just to great knowing that the quality is good enough for humans to eat it?? I'm just amazed actually, I thought for sure I was going to get some kind of feedback stating that it is processed in a "human grade facility" but humans cannot actually consume it. I'm just so thrilled!! Happy New Year!! Snick & Viv
