Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Taste of the Wild dry kibble Who feeds this? Do you think it makes them poop more and smelly? It is solid for a plus.

| I feed this to my Westie and he definitely has smelly poop. Lucy eats it too (but I still have to mix it with the Purina Puppy Food that her breeder sent with her in order for her to eat it). Her poop is fine. |

| Not the case for all dogs, but typically.. Raw Food = Least Poop Grain Free Foods = Less Poop Foods with grain = Most Poop If you feed based off calories, not by how many cups/ounces. |

| This is what I feed also. They have two to three small solid poops a day. No smell either. I have never had to express anal glands either.

Do you like Parti's?" Donating Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Michigan

| I've tried TOTW and many other premium feeds...and did not have sucess with them. Can't get good results if your dogs will not eat them. Right now mine are on Nutri-Source, which most of them like. However even though the pee and poo smell is down considerably, the poo volume seems to have doubled...if not tripled. I have been told that means to much undigestable material. I am getting accidents that I never had before. They just cannot hold it through the night on this food. So...back to the food search I go...SIGH!!! Can someone PLEASE reccomend a food they will eat, that produces a few small and less smelly poo's a day?

YT 2000 Club Member | my dogs were on it about a year ago and the longer they were on it the more issues they started having. I think in total they were on it 3 months (all 3 flavors), They started pooping 7 or more times a day, Tucker at the time was a pup and his coat was dry and brittle and it made all of my dogs itchy. Im not saying its a bad product, just didnt work for my dogs.

| I was feeding TOTW Pacific Stream with salmon. It was the best quality dog food I could find locally in my middle of nowhere town. I actually had great results, with no poo issues. But for some strange reason I thought I could do better so I stopped in the big city and picked up a bag of wellness for small dogs. Isn't that supposed to be the best? Well, my Moka has TERRIBLE gas now. It never was an issue with TOTW. So, I think I will be switching back after all. All this talk on dog foods just confuses me sompin fierce!

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I was feeding Wellness for small breed but it wasn't a all life stage food and I was having trouble keeping everyone eating the right food for them. I like the size of the Wellness alot better and they seemed not to have the pooping issues they do now..but like I said it is not all life stage so I changed. Just a thought... my dogs have not been able to go outside for almost 2 weeks now.. I still have a good foot of snow..maybe that is why I am noticing so much POOP! hahaha

♥ Catherine My Love ♥ Donating Member | Totw I tried Taste of the Wild with Catherine (3 different kinds) and she just wouldn't eat it. but, I feed Clark TOTW the Pacific kind (blue bag) and he does really well on it. It's got the omega fatty acides, so I don't have to give him a supplement. I haven't noticed that his poo is smellier than Catherines at all...
