Harley was neutered today and seems wiped out. They also had to pull 3 baby teeth. They kept the teeth for me and they appear just huge. I can't believe they came out of his mouth. The ones I found on the floor we always little. He also got microchipped. He has been licking some so I guess he'll have to wear "the collar" tonight and tomorrow while I'm at work. Luckily, I just around the corner so I can come check on his about 3 times. Is all this normal?

he's gone through a lot, so I would say yes, he'll be back to normal soon.

Yes, that is normal. He has had a big, stressful day. He's probably just happy to be home. He will be back to normal in no time. Leo was fine the day after he was neutered- you would never know he had anything done.

Cooper was much better on the day following his neutering and back to full strength the next.

Here's to hoping Harley feels better soon.

Starsky's vet makes them stay overnight after neutering, but when I picked up the next day he was jumping all over the place. I had to tell him to calm down! Harley will be feeling a lot better tomorrow

Funny that you mentioned that. My little guy Deegan got neutered, microchipped and had three teeth extracted yesterday also. So he's hurting on all ends too, poor baby. They wanted to keep him over night, so I going to pick him up after work today. I can't wait to see him. I hope he doesn't hate me too much.
They haven't told me if he will have to wear that collar yet, or not. Guess I will find out when I get there.

How is Harley. Hopefully he is back to normal. It usually only takes a day or so. My dogs send puppy hugs and kisses.

My baby is scheduled for tomorrow to be neutered and I am pretty anxious because I don't know what to expect. I think he's will be a little more invasive because only one of his testicles dropped (crypto-orchid?). I've read things in the past about a special anesthsia that should be used on Yorkies, anyone have any insight for me? On top of that he also has to have 2 baby teeth pulled!

It's been a few days since Harley's surgery and I hope he feels back to normal and doing well.

GandNee - I hope your baby is feeling well too from his surgery.
