| Acting Strange-aggressive, shy etc. Ok, so I have 2 yorkies, one is 3 and the other is 6 months. My 3 year old has been acting strange the past 2 weeks. When my husband and I get home from work, she is happy to see us, and will stay around us for about 30 min. She then will go up stairs and hide under our bed for the remainder the of the night. She gets nippy at us if we try to get her out. I took her to the vet a few days ago- I was at home for lunch and she was actually playing, and I thought great, she is coming out of this funk, well all of the sudden, she stopped, and locked her back hips. I picked her up, and she wanted down, so I put her down. She then walked over to a pillow and laid down. That freaked me out, so I took her to the vet a few hours later. The vet didn’t find anything wrong physically in the exam, and said that she felt that Zoe was/is in some pain, but unable to narrow it down from there. They ran a blood panel, and everything came out normal.... The vet does have her on a anti-inflammatory, but she is still acting strange, and hiding. I should also mention that Zoe is/was always very good about going to her kennel, and is now running up stairs in the mornings, not wanting to go in, and sometimes, we get her in, and she tries to run out... We have had the 6 month old since August, so I don’t think she is jealous or this has anything to do with him... She has never been hit or anything either.... It is all so strange... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated... |

| Might want to post this in the 'sick' section. Maybe someone who frequents that section will recognize some of the symptoms. ~Joanne~
