| When to test for liver enzymes? I've seen a number of posts about having high liver enzymes and because I lost my 3 yr. old Max to bladder stones, don't want to have the same happen to Tucker. When or why would you have them tested? Tucker is 1 1/2 years. |

| There is a growing belief that because there is such a high occurance of liver problems in yorkies that all yorkies should be tested at or after 18 weeks of age. However most people do not test for this unless they have seen some sort of sign or symptom that causes concern. Both of my dogs have been tested even though only one of them has a problem, I will also have all of my future yorkies tested.
