| coconut oil for dry skin???? Since winter in upon us I have noticed Bo doing a lot of scratching. He does not have fleas. I put some Bio Groom conditioner on him and he is still scratching. I was wondering if I rub some coconut oil on him will that help?

Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | I started a thread about a week ago asking about coconut oil. I bought some yesterday and am giving mine 1/4 tsp a day starting yesterday and I put on their skin where they scratched and made the skin red. I also used a dab to massage all over because their hair was a little dryer than normal. I cant tell you it works because I just started but Ive got my fingers crossed it does. |

YT 500 Club Member | I have a similar problem with Rosie, she seams quite itchy especially in the morning so I've switched to a coconut oil shampoo and conditioner, just started giving her a little of the oil this weekend which she loves and this weekend found a liquid pure coconut oil spray which you spray on after a bath while the hairs still wet. Probably be a week or two before we notice any difference. |
