Acana? Does anyone feed this? I got a sample today of the adult small breed formula. It says its a Regional Formula with Free-run chicken, pacific salmon and fresh whole eggs. I was going to switch the kids from Natural Balance to Nature's Variety. Only thing is the only place I can get NV is in a nearby city. I was supposed to be going tomorrow, but plans change and I won't be able to go now until next month. The local pet and feed, sells Natural Balance and Acana. They are currently out of the small breed NB. It is too hard for Tila and Mika to eat the regular sized NB. They do not know when they are getting any more NB small bites in either. But they do have Acana. So if anyone knows anything about this one or if you feed it, please tell me about it. Thanks. I need to feed them something, they have some NB left, it will be enough for me to switch them over. But I'd feel a bit better about hearing about Acana from ya'll. Thanks.

We just ordered a huge sample pack from Luke's and we got 3 samples of Acana, and they both (even Bandit who is extremely picky) likes the grasslands and prairie version which is grain free but not too high in protein.

I think Acana is probably the best kibble on the market...However, my girl is really picky, so I switched her to raw (NV), and she's sooooooooo happy w/her food, that I don't even bother w/kibble...But if I did feed kibble, it would be Acana....

| I LOVE everything about Acana and also it's sister brand Orijen. They are both made by Champion Pet Foods and it's a fabulous company. They won Dog Food of the Year this year with Orijen. I don't use the Regional formula. I use the Praire Harvest and my Snickers really like it. He is on a rotation diet with raw twice a day and then kibble out 24/7 for hungry nibbling. Check out the ratings Acana got on thsi website: www.dogfoodanalysis.com Check for Acana grainfree under 5 stars, and other Acana formulas under 4 stars. Orijen is 6 stars. You can see their excellent website at: www.championpetfoods.com I'm thrilled Snick took to the Acana...he ate Evo for so long and just got sick of it after 5 months...who could blame him. Smiles- Snick & Viv

I feed Sophie Orijen, which as another poster said is made at the same company. I think Acana & Orijen are GREAT foods! Sophie loves Orijen 6 fish formula. The Acana has a little less protein in it, I think.
