| Healthy treats. Have you tried Natural Balance little biscuits? They have Turkey, oatmeal, cranberries etc. I don't know whether or not your dog will do well with them, but when I had a dog it sure liked them. LOL. GL. |

| I'm sorry to hear your pup has a hard time keeping food down. That's sad! Do you mind me asking what type of food you feed her? I was going to suggest boiled chicken as a treat and maybe banana. Those are generally easy on the tummy. Apple can be acidic and cheerios may not work if she does not do well with grains. The Natural Balance biscuit probably won't do her well since she has such a sensitive belly and they might have wheat in them. But you can always try them. -Snick & Viv

| treats I thought Natural balance was Good food? I am careful to look at the ingredient list and I thought that NB did not have grains other than oatmeal? I could be wrong. My dog also had digestive problems at the end and she did well on them, but dogs are different. I am sorry that your little one has a bad tummy and I do not mean to suggest any food that would harm any dog. I thought I would reply as you asked for suggestions, but perhaps I should not have - especially with such a hot and disputed topic as food? Hope your baby gets well soon, it is so sad when they are sick. |

I'm curious now - I didn't know NB had biscuits. Are these more of a treat than a meal type of food? I try to stay grain free & it can be hard to find good treats.

| Hey Bonbonny!!!!!! Yes it is a biscuit....not a meal food. There food rolls I think are a complete diet, but they also have biscuits. The biscuits even come in smaller sizes for our little ones. Snick at 1 time ate the Sweet Potato/Venison ones but that lil stinker is too picky and upgraded to another biscuit lol. Actually they are made with limited ingredients so they might be ok for this pup who has stomach issues. Check em out!!: Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance® L.I.D. | Treats Thank you Vivian for your kind words. I did look up the new treats on the NB website and they only have turkey, oatmeal, rye etc and no wheat. They do have some treats that do have wheat however. Bon: I believe they are fairly new and come in tiny size as well as bigger ones. I found that most 'treats' are full of junk and these NB ones seemed a bit more healthy. It is so hard to find the 'perfect' food unless we cook ourselves. LOL. Have a great day Viv and Bon. Thanks again. |

| thanks all for replying and sorry for the delay; actually ava got really sick yesterday and i had to take her to the hospital; she was vomiting a lot; they did blood test and her amylase enzymes was high; her white blood cell counts was low and i believe her platelets was low too; i dont have the papers with me; i will get them today when i pick her up from the hospital. she was diagnosed with pancreatitis because of the amylase high levels. so now i dont know if she has both gastritis and pancreatitis. anyway i spoke to the vet today; ava is on IV fluilds and they will prescribe presciption diet for pancreatitis; i am assuming royal canin which can have meal and by products so i am not sure what to do; i had ava on the honest kitchen which is a pretty good food; but sometimes when she doesnt eat breakfast i give her baby food; and maybe that's what triggered the pancreatitis. so what should i do about the RX diet royal canin; what if she doesnt eat it; she's very picky eater. any suggestions? thanks much

| I'm sorry your baby is so sick. I've never dealt with pancreatitis & don't know much about it. I think you'd getter a better response if you started a new thread. I know there's lots of people on YT who have had to deal with this problem.
