| My yorkie starting to loss her teeth I just noticed my 5 1/2 month yorkie has lost a few teeth, the past few days she hasn't been herself, she has been very tired and just lounging around, and only playing for maybe an hour total for the day. Is it normal thatshe is that tired while losing her teeth, or could it be something else like she is fighting a cold or something. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Yes, that sounds normal. Teething can be painful, can even cause digestive issues for some doggies, including loss of appetite (bc teeth hurt) and/or looser stools. It can help to give them chews etc. and some people will put chews in the freezer and then give them as this may help the mouth feel better. If it really seems bad, you might ask your vet for something for pain. How is she otherwise? Is she eating okay? And welcome to YT !

| Thanks for the info, that helps. She was eating ok and then the other day I noticed she wasn't eating as much so I put a little warm water into her food bowl to soften the food and she started to eat her normal amount. Other than that she is doing great. Thanks again |
