| Layla got cut Layla got cut - well more like nicked- when the vet techs were shaving her belly for her ultrasound. They cut here were her little nipple is and I think she has razor burn? There is a very red blotchy rash on her belly and it is a bit swollen- this is around her little cut. Her hair got shaved right down and it is itching her horribly which I think is making the rash worse. Is there anything I can put on the cut/rash to help her? Right now she has a sweatshirt on to keep her from scratching- and i will put pjs on her tonight- just looking to relieve her discomfort. |

| Oh gezzz, so sorry poor little one, you can clean her up with peroxide water and them put some neosporin and keep the shirt on her to prevent her to get to it, hope she feel better soon.

| Neosporin would be fine for the cut, but licking is not okay if you do decide to use it...

| she can't reach it- it is the highest nipple on her chest- almost under her arm pit- so she does her best to scratch it- but right now she has a sweater on and has been leaving it alone- i just don't want it to get worse- not what we need |

| Good thing I wasn't with you when they did that. I tell it like it is and there is no reason for them to cut and burn her. How horrible. Poor little munch sure is having more than her share of Vet. visits as it is. Give my little niece hugs and kisses for me.

| WELL- i didn't see it until I got home or I would have had SOMETHING to say- because i said to them- do you want me to shave her at home- since I do her grooming- they said no- but I should have gone with my gut and done it at home. Now yet ANOTHER reason for her to hate the vet just what we need! |

| I have this stuff called Buddy's Boo Boo and it is a lotion for really dry or irritated skin or minor cuts. It smells kind of like a cold medicine, but it works. Good luck. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Poor Layla. I think there is a neosporin with itch control that may help.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | As long as the area is where she cant reach it, I use neosporin for mine if they have any issues. |
