| Soggy Kibble question Hi! Brooklynn is just over 12 weeks old, she has lived with us for 2 weeks. She is doing great! She is on Life's Abundance food, wet and kibble. She is little, right about 2 lbs. She will eat wet food without a problem (but likes it room temp or warm, not out of the fridge.) I leave dry kibble for her everyday, she won't touch it. Is this normal? She also won't drink water. I have been making her kibble soggy, by letting it soak in water, then she drinks the water and eats the kibble. (sometimes just drinks the water and nibbles the kibble). I also mix soggy kibble with can food to make sure she is eating it. Should I try something else? Stop making the kibble soft? Advice please. I have tried to use dry kibble as a treat, and she spits it out. (and Cheerio's too) She is getting bigger, and she is eating, happy and playful. Oh and normal stool too.

| I never gave Peanut wet food just bc I think they do tend to get spoiled off it. Why are you giving her wet food? Maybe you can mix a little of her wet food in her dry to see if she will eat.. or you can mix a little cottage chesse in her dry food.

| I was keeping everything the same as the breeder did it. She did wet food am and pm with dry all day. (she was not a fan of the dry at the breeder either) I have modified slightly; wet in the am, dry all day, soggy mixed with wet in the pm. I know she has itty bitty teeth, and growing up with Labs we always made soggy food for the pups. (I never gave can before either) I was hoping to wean the soggy food, but the Little Diva isn't having it.... so it seems.

HMMM Ok I see why now. Well If you want her to get off the wet food I would just start limiting her... Put less and less in her dry food, she will eat if she is hungry. Or you can put something like Cottage chesse or yogurt just a little. Sometimes when Peanut hasnt had any food he will throw up and after that he still wont eat, so I have to put a little cottege chesse or yogurt in his dry food. He will gobble it up!!

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I would cut down on the canned now that she is getting older. Her siblings are eating all dry kibble now with just a taste of canned to get them going. She ate it here but mostly when the others were eating along with her. I would try cutting down a little on the canned and try more kibble. I also put warm water in it and they would drink the water and then ate the kibble later. Warming it makes it more appealing to them tho. She actually was one of the best litter eaters! |

I do the warm water too, and I am still using the bag of food you sent home with me! I feed her, I swear! She will plow thru the canned food. She eats well, as long as it is what she wants (and its warm). She thinks everytime the mircowave goes off... its for her! I don't mind if she has a little canned food, but I'd like to see her eat more kibble than can. I also notice she eats better on a plate than in a dog dish... Breny... we've got a Diva here! How many litter mates are left with you? I have been telling everyone that asks that she has litter mates left! I even gave your website to someone.

| I just noticed today a patch of silverish/gray on the top of her head! So funny how they change in less than 3 weeks. Her hair is growing a lot too. We just love her! Thank you so much for loving them as much as you do, it really makes a difference!!
