I Love Thor Donating Member | The BEST way to wear your yorkie out!! So this morning was a little hetic. While I've been frantically trying to get school stuff done, Thor has been barking at me to play and entertain him. "Momma, dis is urw dob to pwease me! And I'm borwed!! Pway wif me NOW!" Of course that is my job! So I decided to take him on a walk to wear his little butt out!...I jumped on my bike, and put him on the zippy leash (and my lab on no leash) and rode around the neighborhood! Whew, guess what? Thor is O-U-T! For about ten minutes of him just running beside my bike, he got some good exercise! I stopped to let him poo, and since the leash is so long if I just slow down a bit he has time to pee while the leash is pulling out. So ladies and gents that are fighting the battle of how to wear their little butts out, jump on the bike. Just becareful about running them over! Thor sorta got the idea...big fast wheels are scary! | I wish I could do that. I guess I'm just not that coordinated. I have a hard time balancing while riding with one hand and controlling the leash with the other. And I'm afraid of running them over....or getting the leash cord caught in the gears

| Wierd...I love to ride my bike, and my dog loves to run so this sounds awesome, but I'm also woried it's not safe, how to you keep your pup from running under the wheels, or suddenly lurching into traffic while you are steering the bike? |

| the only thing that wears out Tigger is if we go outside and play fetch for an extended amount of time. also, when our neighbors lived here, (apt complex) he would play with their shar-pei,white lab mix named Shakespeare. Shakespeare would run up to Tigger and then run away expecting Tigger to follow, Tigger would just stand there and everytime Shakespeare would get close jump up into his face. It was adorable. Tigger is also sort of vain at times. He loves to look at himself in the mirror. It started day one of us bringing him home. he he he we have a video of it. He jumps into the mirror a couple of times pretty hard. poor baby. |

| I walk fast and Dudley has to run to keep up with me. 20 minutes of that and he has had enough to last him til noon. Then a short walk is all he wants. If I try to walk fast he plants all 4 feet and says no way!! of course this works great because he is only 4.5 lbs and quite small. |

I Love Thor Donating Member | I think that you just have to stay very alert and aware of your dogs next move. Thor stayed pretty clear of the wheels for the most part and for traffic, I wouldn't walk him near busy traffic so I don't have to worry about him darting into it. |

| Oh I dont think I would do that with my little ones. they are so short to the ground it would be to much for them to try and keep up. and it would only take one wrong move and they could run right in front of the tire.. We have 5 acres any ways so I just go out and let them run araound the yard like crazy then they slow down and are ready to come back and sit on the porch with me. lol |

That's great. Usually with Mollie I just take her outside for a good game of fetch she loves her balls we do this for about 30 minutes and she is zonked by the time we get back in. Now with her & Wyatt both they run around all over the house playing and when they collapse they collapse.

| Have you ever seen the dog whisperer and how he roller blades with his pack of like thirty dogs...what a sight that would be coming down the street but he does it to exercise them too. |
