| NOW! dog food anyone? Has anyone heard of it or used it? I went to a new pet store around here to get some NV raw for Lola since my other store is across the city. While I was in there I was talking with the gentlemen and he told me about this food. It's made in my province and it was new he said. I don't know too much about food but he says it's very good quality with great ingredients. I read a little pamplet he gave me about it and I was thinking of getting a 1lb bag for Lola to have out if she wanted to have some kibble to nibble on. Here's the link to the ingredients and about the food. NOW! Adult Grain Free Dog Foog |

| I've never heard of it. The first 2 ingredients are de-boned turkey and potato flour. Once you take the moisture out of the turkey, potato flour is the main ingredient and the main source of protein. I personally don't care for that. I would much rather the protein come from a good meat source. Here are the ingredients: INGREDIENTS De-boned turkey, potato flour, pea, apple, whole dried egg, pea fibre, tomato, potato, flaxseed, canola oil (preserved with mixed tocopherols, a source of Vitamin E) , natural flavors, salmon, de-boned duck, sun dried alfalfa, coconut oil (preserved with mixed tocopherols, a source of Vitamin E), carrots, pumpkin, bananas, blueberries, cranberries, raspberries, blackberries, papaya, pineapple, grapefruit, lentil beans, broccoli, spinach, cottage cheese, alfalfa sprouts, dried kelp, flaxseed, calcium carbonate, dicalcium phosphate, lecithin, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, vitamins: ( vitamin E supplement, L-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate (source of vit. C), niacin, inositol, vitamin A supplement, thiamine mononitrate, d-calcium pantothenate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, beta-carotene, vitamin D3 supplement, folic acid, biotin, vitamin B12 supplement) , minerals: (zinc proteinate, ferrous sulfate, zinc oxide, iron proteinate, copper sulfate, copper proteinate, manganese proteinate, manganous oxide, calcium iodate, sodium selenite), taurine, DL-methionine, L-Lysine, chicory root extract, lactobacillus acidophilus, lactobacillus casei, enterococcus faecium, bifido bacterium thermophilum, dried aspergillus niger fermentation extract, dried aspergillus oryzae fermentation extract, yeast extract, yucca schidigera extract, marigold extract, garlic powder, L-carnitine, dried rosemary.

| Like I said I didn't know much about ingredients except for the obvious ones we always hear are bad. Lola is on NV raw and I just want something to leave out for her to nibble on if she gets hungry during the day. I know it is low protein but I was thinking perhaps since she gets the raw her protein is good for the day. |
