| How much do you feed? (Nature's Variety/Prairie) We switched to Nature's Variety Prairie a few months ago and all three love it, but lately they always seem starved! We mix kibble with their can food, plus we mix in green beans and pineapple and/or pumpkin! How much do you feed your babies??? Thanks!

| Ya'know, I just noticed my Apple seems to be so much hungrier, than usual...then it occurred to me that it is fall, and it may be nature's way of "fattening" them up for the winter? Of course, I know we have to keep an eye on them, because I doubt if many of our yorkies are going to "brave the elements of winter" lolol...But, in answer to your question, Apple weighs exactly 5 lbs. and has two medallions a day (raw) and a few green beans, or carrots or small slice of apple...If I'm out of fresh fruit/veges, I may put 1/4 cup of dry kibble out, between meals, that takes her a couple of days to eat... |

Wrigley & Camden both weigh 6lbs and they get 1/8 cup twice a day of kibble with about 1/2tsp of can mixed in with the veggies. They also get a few treats each day! I never thought about the change of the season having an impact, thanks!

| Yes, they maintain their weight. Do you give them veggies in addition to the kibble and canned food?

| The only veggies I give them is green beans, but mostly as treats. The canned food has veggies in it and we also rotate the flavors every couple weeks.

| Green beans are mainly what we add as well. We put a little bit of pumpkin and/or pineapple as well. The canned food we give has a little bit of veggies too. I'm just worried about increasing the kibble! We have fed them this amount for a long time, but it's just lately that it doesn't seem to be filling them up as much!
