| Maxi is getting snipped on Friday Hey everyone, my little baby is getting snipped and microchipped on friday and I have to say I am so nervous about it. I took the advice of some people on here and got some onesies in newborn size instead of putting the collar on him, so hes not more uncomfortable that he has to be. Im terrified of leaving him at the doctor's all day, I know he will be scared. Is there anything that I need to know about for friday? anything I should be prepared for or expect? I hope he doesnt hate me Thanks!

| Aww Don't worry, he will be fine. All dogs are different when it comes to this, some act like nothing happened and some are real sensitve to it. Peanut was one of the sensitve ones. He didnt act like himself for 3 days. He was just laying around the house and sleeping. Does he have any baby teeth that need to be pulled?? Might want to check on that, now is a good time to do that. The only thing you can do is just watch him, make sure he doesnt jump and run around at least for a couple days. They say no major running until you get the stiches out. And make sure he doesnt lick that area. Peanut didnt want to eat when he got home, so I bought him some Pedialyght and I boiled him some chicken and rice. I turned on the heating pad on low for him as well. I'm telling ya he was completly babied that whole week, he was milking it too!! Let us know how he is on Fri when he comes home.

My Jersey layed on the couch did not want to move, eat or drink. I gave him water from my fingers and a tablepoon he nibbled a few kibbles out of my hand. After just about 24 hours from the surgery, i took him outside and he peed for a long time and like magic he was back to himself. It wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. | |

| Hope your little one is doing well. Hot Rod pretty much slept for 3 days after his neuter. He also had 14 teeth removed.
