| I am worried now Well Peanut had his dental yesterday, and everything looks ok. I noticed last night when he whines his voice sounds crutsy... l(ike you know when you talk alot or you are getting sick and your voice is crusty..) it sounds like that. It is only when he whines or grunts , he barks fine. He isnt coughing or hacking up anything.. I called the vet they want me to bring him in for an xray, and I told them I said well before he had his dental he was fine why should I have to pay for an xray... ergh that didnt make me to happy. Peanuts original vet isnt back until thurs.. he has a fill in so if anything I am going to wait until thurs to talk to pnuts vet. I hope it goes away. I hope they didnt mess up his trechea!! I worry that he has a collaspe trechea now! He doesnt have any of the symptoms of a CT.... ergh I dont know I am a stress ball now! I always will think of the worse of anything... DH see's it all different, he says Peanut isnt breathing hard or having trouble, he isnt coughing, he is just a little hoarse. Any advice!!?

| Maybe it's from when they put the tube down his throat to put him under? I know us as humans have that groggy, scratchy voice after being put under?

| Yeah I know it has something to do with the tube from yesterday... thats what DH says too... I am just worried maybe when they took the tube out, if they pulled on it wrong it could cause him to have a CT? I am not to sure on that...??

| Yah with me being a nurse..i see that happen to a lot of patients that have a breathing tube inserted during procedures....usually it goes away after a couple of days. Hope your little one gets better.

| I'd give it some time. It will likely get better. Ellie coughed for a bit after her last surgery.

| The warning was right on our take-home print-out. Basically coughing is normally for a few days. If it is excessive, call. I'd say the same goes for being a bit hoarse.

| Update I went home on my lunch.. and he seems to be a little better than he was yesterday. His voice is not as hoarse. It is still there, but not as bad. He has been doing his reverse sneeze a lot more than usual, but that is probably due to the tube. I just wanted to give you guys an update
