| Found Healthy New Treats that Merlin LOVES.... Hi All, I am usually pretty quiet here but have found tons of great info as I have searched for info about Yorkies - thank you all for the great advice and info, it has been VERY helpful being here!! We got Merlin at the end of June, tomorrow he will be 6 months old and just weighed in at 3lbs. 7oz. - our vet highly recommends Natural Balance dry and can foods for "the little guys" and I was just at our local family owned pet store and found out that Natural Balance now has a soft, moist treat!!! YEAH, MERLIN is so happy!!!! He likes the soft, moist treats better than crunchy ones, he has been teething............. The Natural Balance treats come in squares about the size of a cheeze-it cracker and can easily be broken in to 4 - 6 pieces depending on how small your Yorkie is. So I thought I'd share the info with you all about the new Natural Balance Treats, they are called Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance®: Tillman's Training Tips™ and info about them can be found here: Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance® Tillman's Training Tips™ Soft Treats for Dogs I take all of our vets advice on feeding, etc because before Merlin we had a Siberian Husky named Sasha who doctored with him for all of her 14 years and for 8 of them she was a diabetic on insulin, and from what I understand it is highly unusual for a dog to live 8 years being a diabetic dog on insulin. So if he recommends Natural Balance, and they make a treat Merlin LOVES that is healthy - that's great news! Hope you find this helpful for all those looking for healthy treats!! | I recently bought some Natural Balance treats but they're crunchy. I'll definitely be looking into these soft treats, thanks ! |
