| Plain grilled chicken w/mixed vegetables daily That is what I give my lil 6month old Yorkie daily for lunch. Is this ok? He's VERY picky with food. I tried so many brands of kibble, canned food, and he hates all of it..he seems to love the grilled chicken/veggies. Is this ok? Thanks! |

| From what I've read, if this meal makes up more than 10% of his total daily intake you need to be providing him with supplements. I would think this would be especially important because of his young age. I hope one of the more knowledgeable members will see this and be able to give you more detailed help.

| I don't so! he should have same kind of dog food, but I will love to come over and join him for lunch LOL !!!! I also cook for my furbabies , but I put it over their dog food, and once in a while, I also use Cesar Bistro, grilled chicken primavera in sauce, I also put Plain Yogurt and small curd cottage cheese. Good Luck !!! bark@ulater !!! manina, mileymaxsasha |

| Have you tried mixing the kibble with the chicken and veggies? That's Buddy's daily diet. It's the only way I can get the kibble in him. He needs a good kibble to have a balanced diet unless you add supplements to the chicken and veggies, however, I'm not sure even that would be enough to give him all the nutrition he needs for healthy bones and nervous system. I am sure those who home cook completely can give you better assistance in this but I know for a fact that chicken and veggies are not enough for a healthy diet. |

| More than 10%-supplement (talk to nutritionist, especially for a pup). A few bites of good people food daily...not a problem.

| I vote raw I'm probably going to be a broken record, since Apple started on raw, but we have been through picky eater syndrome since I got her @ 11 1/2 weeks old...To show my ignorance, I didn't realize raw was nicely packaged in little frozen medallions that you thaw out, the night before in the fridge, then cut up nicely, and put on a plate...totally convenient, easy as pie to feed, and she loves them loves them loves them...It's supposed to be totally complete nutrition, but of course I'm not certified to say so, so I'd check out all info, then make a decision...I just know it is a major relief for me to see her eat two nice little meals a day, and do two regularly scheduled poopies a day...Life is good |

| I had a picky eater too! Jamie thought kibble was something to play in when he was a puppy. At 6 months I finally got brave enough to try NV Raw and he loved it. Jamie just turned 2 in July and he still loves it. Plus he super healthy and has a beautiful coat and clean teeth. Just a little food for thought...
