| Eating Issues Again: Chef Michael Dog Food Has anyone ever tried this with their dog~? The dry or the wet~? I am having problems again with my dog not eating his "Royal Cainine"l This is supposily for picky dogs, but I think he is tired of it. The Vet told me not to switch but he literally isn't eating much...unless my repair guy is over here. He loves him and will eat for him This past weekend he would not eat, so instead of giving him treats, I filled his small scooper of "Royal Cainine" and he ate out of the scooper. I got him some wet food from "Three Dog Bakery" and mixed a teaspoon or so with his dry and he gobbled it down one day, but not the next. When I got home from a meeting I told him I have a "treat" for him and gave him a tiny scoop with his "Royal Cainine"" and he loved it. I don't want to totally switch him again, because it might be the 10th time I have gone thru this since he was a puppy. I forgot how many types he has had since I have lost track. But in the morning, I will give him his "Royal Cainine" and if he doesn't eat, perhaps a scoop of the wet or a scoop of the new dry. for the evening meal. What do ya'll say to this~? |

| I have been where you are so many times...Apple is just turning 11 months old, and I, finally, found a diet regime that she loves!!! I give her a Nature's Variety raw medallion in the morning, and 1/4 cup of Nature's Variety instinct (dry) at night....She weighs between 4 1/2 and 5 lbs. and that's all I can give her...For the first time in "our" lives, she looks up at me like "I need more" lol...You do have to be very vigilent w/clean hands, plates, etc. handling raw...but it is sooooooooo convenient...I thaw one medallion out in the fridge, at night, and in the morning, Apple is staring up at me in the kitchen, like, lets get w/breakfast mom...btw, right now, I'm using chicken medallions and chicken instinct dry...But I'm going to do the rotation thing, and switch among three proteins...That's supposed to be the best way.... |

Also, I have talked to many of folks that I met with Yorkies and some of them say, "they are picky eaters" and other say, "they aren't". Apparently, we have got the picky ones. Maybe this is why "he is my boss" in a lot of ways. Is that true with you or others~? | |

| This sounds so familiar..... Phoebe is almost 4 and is still a picky eater and there has been times it looked like she had a buffet laying out!!!!!! But like you I worried when she wouldn't eat. She has Royal Canine and will eat it in spells. I do lean turkey when nothing else works.
