| Has anyone ever tried Natures Recipe? Just curious. I am trying to find something for Rosco without chicken in it. It irritates his GI and causes mucus poops.

| All three of the Natures Recipe flavors contain "chicken fat" as the fifth or so ingredient, I don't know if that would affect your Rosco or not... but overall, I don't think Natures Recipe is that bad of a food compared to others sold at Petsmart. It's semi grain-heavy but some dogs do fine w/ grains. I would personally feed more meat.

| I feed Nature's Recipe to my pups and they all do very well on it. There is no beef, wheat or corn in it. One of my pups who had awful allergies totally cleared up with this food! I use the Farmstand Selects. It has dried fruits and veggies in it. I know that many prefer others, but it is one that I have had good success with and I feel it is a good food.

| I purchased the Farmstand Selects it has turkey in it. I have 2 other yorkies and they eat Royal Canine 27 it has chicken in it but it doesn't bother them. Rosco stuck his nose up to the Farmstand Select but he is use to small bites so I will cut it up to make smaller pieces and see if he will eat it then. I try to give them a variety to eat they eat dry through the day and I cook for them at night.

| I fed Nature's Recipe for over a year - I used variety with the dried fruits and vegies in it. I also fed the pups the puppy variety. I noticed that the kids were itchy, no signs of fleas, and no reasons for itching so I changed to Taste of the Wild High Prairie. It is a grain free all life stages food, and everyone gobbled it right up. |

| I believe it is the same thing it has the fruits and veggies in it. He is use to eating smaller kibbles or maybe he just don't like it. Who knows with him

| There is another brand that has dried fruits and veggies, but offhand I cannot think of the name of it. A friend of mine bought it and her pups hated it. She thought it was the one I am using.

| It is a yellowish orange bag with a pic of apples turkey and carrots on it. Says it made with real turkey fruits and veggies. It says Natures recipe an Farmstand Select on it and a dog on the bottom corner of bag.
