| They can have: Banana Apple Berries Melon I don't see many people feeding cherries, but I don't think it would be a problem. We stay away from acidic fruits. Ellie's favorite is banana, but she is fine taking off a few of our fingers for waterlemon too.

They can also have bluberries, pears, peaches, apricots, orange slices and nectarines. Bella Mia has a passion for fruit especially peeled. Vegies- Carrots and broccoli (raw) The vet told us most fruits and vegetables are fine in small quantities BUT ABSOLUTELY NO PITS, SEEDS, or CORES. NO ONIONS or garlic (not as bad as onion but still bad) in any way shape or form (onion seasonings, lipton onion soup mix etc is just as dangerous). I love feeding my dogs fresh fruit makes me think "an apple wedge a day keeps the DR. away" Oh and my disclaimer heeheehee..you should always consult your vet when changing or adding to your pets diet. (We called and tehy sent me a list of fruits and vegies)

I can't wait to try some of this with them... I just think it would be so much healthier than regular dog treats... not that I will stop giving them but definetly not as much... thank you so much for the list of fruits/veggies to try. they just seemed to love the apples

I think I will offer them again tomorrow... they was alittle distracted tonight because I got them some healthy edibles by nylabone... not sure how good those are for them but they loved them and I think thats why they decided not to eat the carrots... We will see though

| I've read that grapes and raisens are bad for dogs. Mine loves nectarines, bananas, and apples.
