| How much $ for spay? I was just wondering what did you pay to have your dog spayed. I called to make Fancie's appt. for her spay next week and as I was finishing up I remembered to ask how much, they said 275.00. I don't know why but I was thinking more like about 150.00 so I was just wondering what some of you paid. Not that it really mattered because I am going to get it done anyways but I was kinda taken back. |

| I paid $79 for my Marley to be spayed, but I live on a military base and had it performed here. I don't know what it would cost off base here in Japan. It would have cost me more if she didn't do well under anesthesia is what they told me. I don't know why that would make a difference??

| I pay $65 for a spay and $40 for neuter. I have found a very reasonable vet.

My furkids Donating Member | I had both of my girls done at the same time. They also had their teeth cleaned at the same time of the spay. I paid 835.00 for both of them. I also had pre-op blood work done that was not included in this price, this was optional and I wanted it done. I think the pre-op blood work was around 75.00 a piece.

| Great question as I was wondering the same thing. My vet quoted me $325 for everything and a local spay and neuter clinic quoted me $85. The spay and neuter clinic has great reviews and charge less because they only do that and vaccines.

| I live in southeast Texas and my vet charges around $125 and that includes a blood panel. I think country vets are less expensive than vets in big cities. Also my vet does not require the dogs to stay overnight. Once I used a different vet in Vidor because he took Care Credit and he charged about $140 but he also required the dogs to spend two night there. |

| I think I paid about $400-450 to have Britney spayed. Coral was a little less.
