| Bad Breath???? Polo is one and has really bad breath. I brush his teeth every night it seems to help a little bit with his breath. Are there any products like mints that would help? has anyone tried this? Amazon.com: Synergy Dental Fresh Dog, 17.3 Ounce:... |

| Does he have retained baby teeth or need his teeth professionally cleaned? That could cause the smell. I dont know about mints it seems like a temporary fix

| I use the PetzLife Gel. That seems to work really well for me. I just recently switched. I used to brush with doggie toothpaste everyday and still there would be some bad breath. But this stuff really cleans off the tartar. Add in some daily bully stick chewing and it works. Except for Bullystick breath, but that goes away.

| have the vet check teeth as bad breath is a sign of periodontal disease as my maltese lost 27 teeth as i did not get dental until 4 and she had horrible breath and i put it off and wish i did not are the gums inflamed and is there tartar on the teeth - any loose teeth? If they have clean teeth they do not have bad breath as after demi's dental her breath smelled great so this is definitely not a good sign |
