| Sophie got her last shots today! And she did great!! She got her DHPPC (yes, it had corona and I debated whether or not to give it, but I did) and her rabies. I know that it is not good to give rabies at the same time, but our vet (whom I would even trust with my life) said she would be ok. And she was! She only cried at the first shot and when she started crying before he gave her the 2nd one Dr. Moore said , "Now Sophie, I've not even stuck you yet! Be a good girl!" And she calmed right down and didn't even cry. We stayed there for a bit so they could monitor her and then went home. She only got sick once in the car and was very active and playful the entire time. When she got home she wanted to play with the cats and us and even did some tricks! She ate her food, drank her water, and pottied!! I was so happy that she did so well! I was really worried that she'd have a reaction, but she didn't have anything!! It was awesome! I just wanted to share that with you all and thank you for being such great helps! BTW, she loved her snoozer car seat! She fell asleep right when I put her in to go to the vet's! |
