| Training treats Hi Everyone! I was wondering what's a good treat to give me 9 week old puppy to start on so I can start training him? |

| Zeus was trained very quickly with Pro-Treat Freeze Dried Beef Liver Treats. I break it up into tiny little pieces because the cubes are too big for him. All I have to is open the lid and he comes running into the kitchen performing all the tricks he knows! LOL! It can be purchased at Petsmart or Petco. Happy training! |

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Hi and welcome to YT! OK you can use several good treats such as getting the Natural Balance logs and cutting them up into small pieces, Cheerios, or any tiny small kibble that he likes. Or the mini Zukes will work. The thing here is to make them small as when you train you use a lot and you don't want them to get full before you are done training. Also I try to keep the training treats special and only use the special treats for training. Good luck and keep us posted on the training.
